Ultimate Javelin Golf
A puzzle game made for Thinky Puzzle Game Jam 4 with theme "Extreme Sports", by Toombler and Patrick Traynor.
Controls:
- Z is undo
- R is restart
- WASD or arrow keys for movement
- X to throw
- ESC exits to the menu
- M is mute

I was wondering when this was going to turn into a Toombler game and then it did. Hard but rewarding as usual.
Great combination of mechanics and overall level design. I think there is a lot of potential here to go further!
The only thing that felt weird was both javelins being destroyed when I threw one on a solved one in the top right corner. I expected only the thrown one to get destroyed and being left with a disk and a javelin on the ground but I guess having two things on the same space would be worse?
WOW! That was some kinda fun!! And the bonus levels... phew... but I am the ULTIMATE Champion!!

Very nice! Personally I think I would have cut the final level and ended on the penultimate one though - I like that ending more :)

and very cool side animations from the crowds (took me a while to realise what it was)
Instant puzzlescript classic! So many things to love — the ingenuity, the twists, the puzzle design, the accumulating mechanics, the fact the crowd gets excited when you produce some iconic sporting moment — but the thing that delighted me the most was that I had to throw puzzlescript target-looking things.
100% would participate in this ancient sport again 🥏𐃆🏌️
