I like the orange one better. it's unique and also complementary colors. the purple one reminds me of Me from baba is you, and also probably other general creatures.
This is a great game! May I get your permission to reproduce it in a different format as seen here? I will happily provide attribution to you in the game help with link back to this page and not charge a penny for the game's use. I may change a few things while preserving the game's mechanics. I've asked other puzzlescript game authors, and all have said yes so far. I do this as a retirement hobby, find great puzzle games and recreate them from scratch in Javascript, html and css, and I've made some original games of my own as well.
Hey, thanks for the offer. Ordinarily this might be fine, except I'm currently working on a new commercial version of the game, so I think I should refuse. Glad you enjoyed the game though, and are making your own games.
Sorry you feel this way. Won't you reconsider? Hardly more than a handful of all the people in the while world play my games. I've got several days into it already and I want to finish what I've started, so I guess I'll make something similar but different out of it. I just assumed you'd say yes as others have. But I can create unique levels. That's the hardest part, but I can do it. Does anybody actually make any money worth counting by making simple puzzle games like this? I doubt it. I do it just for the pleasure of making them.
The mechanics are surprisingly deep, the puzzles consistently excellent and there's some pitch-perfect whimsical humor for good measure. And that's not even to mention the level of polish that has gone into the pixel art – the ambient lighting around the bird, the water that isn't just a single blue tone, the depth effects – a true feat of puzzlescript wrangling :)
I might have found an unintended solution to the last level, which I finished without using any of the bushes on the right-hand side of the map. Don't want to spoil anything, but I've got a screenshot if that's helpful :)
Only level 36 to go! But I'm totally stumped on that one..
Thanks for spotting that, I think I've found your solution and I've updated the game with an easy fix, let me know if it there's something else I've missed.

why is the guy purple instead of orange?
Why not? Just decided to change it for the remake

Finally got the last level, very clever, and great ending
cool game
Finally beat the last level today! Very good little puzzle game! Some levels were really tricky! Looking forward to the commercial version!
Awesome, thanks a lot!

I agree.
What an interesting game! Novel idea. I'm sure level 24 is impossible. Just like 23 was before I figured it out.
Thanks for playing :)
i really liked the game :^ )
Thank you!
Level 17? Anyone passed it yet? Help!!!
It's a tricky one for sure. Here's an upside down hint:

Good luck on 36 :)
That has indeed fixed it.. Now I've actually got to figure out how to get the bird through those damned bushes!

That got hard fast.
